Our “Wall of Sound” mural was customized and printed on gold mylar for all the guest rooms in Cambria Hotel Nashville. The speaker motif is a nod to the rich music history of Nashville while the gold mylar provides an iridescent pop to the space. Hotel design by Forrest Perkins, San Francisco.
Astek collaborated with Stanford Hotels’ design team on their renovation of this Southern California property. Astek’s in-house design studio created all the artwork with each room configuration in mind, ensuring key graphic elements were not blocked by headboards and furniture in the space.
Polished Perfect, an elegant nail studio in Southern California, features our “Jazz Age - Gilded” wallcovering throughout the space. Inspired by ornate details from a bygone era, Jazz Age from Astek’s Moderna collection creates a feeling of opulence and luxury. Store design by Akar Studios, Santa Monica, CA.
We proudly worked with CallisonRTKL to print the wallcoverings for their re-design of Finish Line's store.
To capture the attention of a younger culture who sees athletic wear as a style choice and not just for sports, Finish Line needed to reimagine their in-store experience. They wanted to bring the product back into the spotlight and create an easy-to-navigate environment that is more suited to an online crowd.
The resulting store design brings a stronger, premium identity to Finish Line’s portfolio. Stark white contrasted against a dark backdrop creates energy within the space while allowing the product and corresponding imagery to take center stage. Track lines and the negative linear lights overhead drive traffic from the entrance through the store while flexible fixturing allows for quick reorganization and vendor personalization. An illuminated storefront and blue underbody LEDs at the cashwrap provide a vibrant, stylish finish to the brand’s refresh.

This accent wall in the Clive Daniel Showroom really pops! This Quartz Calypso colorway from Astek’s Crystalline collection was inspired by unearthed crystals and natural forms. Printed on a silver mylar using our own top-of-the-line, large format printers, the final mural is a stunning surface that reflects light and brings impact to the space.
We were thrilled to print the art-deco meets sci-fi wallcoverings for the film Passengers! Production designer Guy Hendrix Dyas wanted the film's spaceship bar to be both inviting and classic while simultaneously acknowledging the theme of interplanetary travel.
"The idea of travel through time and space is hinted at graphically on the walls and carpet and tiles around the entryway," says Dyas. "[The color palette of] rich golds and reds is part of the color journey of the film. We needed that sense of warmth and seduction that would bring our characters to the bar. Many of the other places on the ship are cold and hard and shiny white. This is a place that gives you warmth and a sense of the planet Earth. It's a taste of humanity."
